Seven records, different roles.
This is a purposive starting set, not a census of UK insurance providers. It combines specialist propositions, mainstream annual-insurance information, a comparison route and one archived brand. Counts describe records and research routes. They are not the number of insurers, products a person can buy, or market shares.
“Product information observed” means an official relevant page was read. It does not mean eligibility, price, a working full quote journey or a purchase has been verified. No personal quotations or purchases were completed.

Two distinctions that change the count.
By Miles’ official company update states that new-customer quotes stopped on 26 November 2025 and renewal quotes stopped on 6 January 2026. We retain its historical profile, while excluding it from current new-business research routes.
Jurny’s product page describes pay-as-you-go insurance, but its estimate journey was not confirmed in this review. An unverified journey is not evidence of closure. Its legal-identity discrepancy is also unresolved in the source-linked profile.
The presence of mainstream annual-cover information and a comparison route does not mean they offer a separate pay-per-mile policy. Use each record’s category and role, then confirm the applicable product directly.
How this report stays current.
Provider evidence is checked through the existing monitoring workflow. Daily checks cover official destinations; weekly checks cover the wider source set and research inputs. Fetch changes flag this report for review. They do not automatically alter an availability claim.
